Anodized Aluminum – Brushed/Polished Designs
(TYPE 419)
Solid aluminum sheets feature a durable, decorative anodized finish on one side, with the back prepared for bonding to a suitable substrate. These sheets bring timeless metallic style to interior applications.

Anodized Aluminum – with Phenolic Backer
(TYPE 418)
Decorative aluminum bonded to a phenolic backer for flat surfaces. Type 418 delivers the same rich anodized look as Types 415 and 419, with installation simplified for high-pressure laminate applications.

Matte Anodized Aluminum – Metro Collection
(TYPE 415)

Metal Laminates – Anodized Aluminum with Phenolic Backer
(TYPE 408)
Durable and ready to use, Metal Laminates offer a sleek metallic finish in standard colors like gold, black, bronze, copper, and grey. Type 408 includes ribboned texture options, adding subtle linear dimension to the metallic surface. Each sheet comes with a protective peel coat and a fabrication-ready back for easy installation.

Galvalume® Steel
(TYPE 414: ONLY AVAILABLE IN CRYSTAL STEEL S6501)
A 26-gauge steel sheet with a magnetic surface and decorative faceted finish on both sides. The steel is coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy and protected by a clear acrylic coating. Fabrication requires steel-specific tools, saw blades and router bits. Suitable for feature walls, column covers, retail displays and other decorative interior applications.

Re-Cover™ Decorative Metal
(TYPE 480)

What sizes are available?
Most designs come in standard sheet sizes of 48″x96″ and 48″x120″. For availability, contact your nearest distributor of Wilsonart products.
Why is aluminum used to create Wilsonart Decorative Metals?
The characteristics of aluminum allow various types of decorative surfaces, textures, and colors to be available.
How are Decorative Metal sheets bonded?
Adhesives used for Decorative Metals must be appropriate for wood-to-metal bonding and strong enough to hold the metal against any dimensional changes of the substrate. For most conditions, contact adhesives are the best choice. NOTE: Do not use water-based contact adhesives or PVA adhesives with Decorative Metals. Read through our Fabrication Manual for more information.
What tools are required to fabricate Decorative Metals?
Tools that are used to fabricate high pressure laminates can be used to fabricate aluminum Decorative Metals. This includes all cutting devices with carbide-tipped blades or bits. It is recommended that when fabricating Decorative Metals, the cutting tool speed should be as high as possible and the feed speed of the blade or bit through the metal should be as slow as possible. Please remember to use an eye protection device.
Note: Steel fabrication tools, sawblades, and router bits are required for Type 414 (Crystal Steel S6501), Galvalume Steel. Please refer to the Decorative Metals Fabrication Manual for complete details.
