Quartz
Quartz is one of the hottest non-porous engineered surfaces available on the market today. The level of care required is significantly less compared to other natural stones. The beauty of quartz is its ability to resist stains, mold or mildew growth and damaging chemicals makes it an even more attractive choice.
Clean & Disinfect
Cleaning refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. It does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
Disinfecting refers to using chemicals, for example, EPA-registered disinfectants, to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
- Non-porous
Wilsonart® Quartz surfaces are non-porous, formulated to stand up to the harshest environments and do not require sealing. They are highly resistant to chemicals, stains, heat, and moisture. - Stain Resistance
As a non-porous surface, Wilsonart® Quartz is highly resistant to staining. The level of care required is significantly less compared to other natural stones. Unlike granite, Wilsonart® Quartz does not need to be sealed or polished. - Easy to Maintain
The level of care required is significantly less compared to other natural stones. Unlike granite, Wilsonart® Quartz does not need to be sealed or polished. They clean up easy with water and mild soap solution. - Cleaner and Disinfectant Resistance
More aggressive cleaners are typically unnecessary as clean-up with mild soap and warm water will address most messes. See Resource section for information regarding Cleaners and Disinfectants.
